A trainer with more than 10 years experience, June Gu specializes in business terminology, presentation, translation, business writing as well as cross-cultural communication skills in Chinese. She conducts courses and workshops for major banks, statutory boards, public-listed companies and other organizations, and has been a regular trainer at Barclays, DBS, EDB, MAS and OCBC.
Apart from group training, June also provides private coaching for business executives on their business proposals and presentations to Chinese government agencies and state-owned-enterprises. June is also an associate lecturer with UniSIM, Nanyang Polytechnic, The Singapore Chinese Chamber Institute of Business and Confucius Institute, NTU.
A native speaker from China, June worked at the Singapore branch of a Chinese government-owned bank before taking on the position of international sales manager (China) with a regional company. Her working experiences in the corporate environment in Singapore, coupled with her intimate knowledge of the Chinese market and experience in working with Chinese clients make her training relevant and effective.
June holds a BA in English from Nanjing University and an MBA from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, US. Back in China, she taught English as a second language at Southeast University, China.
